Beckman Coulter. Life Science 250. Instrument Description. System Gold Solvent Delivery module (Pumps) 126: 2 pump heads and 2 four-way valves per pump. Analytical: 0.001 to 10mL/min flow rate in 0.001 mL/min increments. Max flow rate 20 mL/min in double flow mode. This manual contains technical information about the Agilent 1100 Series HPLC Value System. The manual describes the following:. system overview, specifications and limitations. installing the system,. setting up an analysis,. diagnostics and troubleshooting,. repairing and maintenance.
LP-chrom is capable to control Beckman System Gold HPLC devices. It makes it real alternative for original Karat 32 software. It is able to fully control pumps: with digital interface (116,125, 126 and 128) and with voltage control (110B and 114M) and UV 166 detector. Control of flow, pressure readings, pressure limits adjustment, flow calibration and selectors change is available in software. LP-chrom is compatible with 166 detector allowing: absorbance readings, wavelength change, calibration, turning on/off of the lamp and more. LP-chrom can replace Karat 32 software. It allows you to replace old and ineffective computers for new with currently used running under Windows platform.
Digital communication between computer and pumps or detector is done by our dedicated cable connected to USB port. It eliminates need for special communication cards. Software can be run at almost any PC, laptop and mobile device with touchscreen (tablet).

LP-chrom digital/analog converter allows you to control pumps with voltage input (i.e. 110B and 114M), collect signal from two detectors simultaneously (or two channels from one device), receive start signal from injector or autosampler. Converter is connected to PC by USB cable. For systems with digitally controlled devices (i.e. 126 pump and 166 detector) digital/analog converter allows to add other devices to system, pumps and detectors.

Based on HPLC user preference, the sample injector can be either fixed or variable loop.
To meet the needs of most HPLC chromatograph analytical testing requirements, an injector capable of injecting a sample volume of 0.5 to 50 uL is needed.
An automatic HPLC sample injector is preferable because it is generally more precise and provides continuous injection without user intervention for batch processing of samples.
A manual sample chromatography system injector may be suitable for small testing volumes
Stainless steel or any other material that can withstand pressures of up to 10,000 psi should be constructing the HPLC chromatograph column. The column should be at least 10-150 cm long with an internal diameter from 2-5 mm.
To maximize efficiency of the HPLC, the particle size should be uniform and either spherical or irregularly shaped.
A chemical resistant material, such as stainless steel or Teflon, should be constructing the high-performance liquid chromatography system pump.
HPLC chromatograph pumps should be able to deliver solvents at pressures ranging from 500 to 5,000 psi.
The waived tests category requires little or no training or experience to perform. These tests do not require elaborate quality control, and they are less likely to produce inaccurate results.
Most clinical laboratory tests are included in the moderate complexity category, including automated urine, blood, and chemistry analyses. Tests and HPLC analyzers in this group require a limited amount of sample and reagent preparation, as well as limited operator intervention during the analytical process.
More specific testing is covered by the high complexity category, and requires extensive education and training.
